This website is operated by Dr. Palak Shah Diagnostic Centre — a sole proprietorship owned and operated by Dr. Palak Shah, registered and located at 1st Floor, S2 Complex, opp. S.T. Bus Depot, above Optic House, Gayatri Society, Lunawada, Gujarat 389230, India ("the Lab", "we", "us", "our").
Clinical Establishment Registration No.: PEN0350000639. This Privacy Policy explains what personal and health-related information we collect when you use this website or our diagnostic services, how we use it, and the choices available to you.
Several of our pages link directly to WhatsApp (for booking a test, sending a prescription, or requesting a report). When you message us on WhatsApp, we collect and retain, for our records:
This WhatsApp conversation data is used only to process your booking, confirm sample collection, and deliver your report — never for marketing, and never shared outside the purposes described in Section 3 and Section 5 below. WhatsApp itself is operated by Meta Platforms, Inc. and separately governed by Meta's own privacy policy for the app and transport layer, which is outside our control.
This website does not run analytics or advertising trackers. The only automatic data exchange is with Google Maps (for the embedded location map) — governed by Google's own privacy policy, not this one.
We do not use your health information for marketing, and we do not sell, rent, or trade your personal or health data to any third party.
Our Contact page offers an "Access My Report" form where you can retrieve your report using your registered mobile number and the patient/report ID printed on your receipt slip.
Once fully live: a report is served only when the mobile number and patient/report ID you enter match a single record on file — reports are not listed or browsable, and no password or account is created or stored for you. Access is time-limited and logged for security purposes.
We share your information only in the following circumstances:
We do not share your data with advertisers, data brokers, or any party for commercial purposes unrelated to your diagnostic care.
Physical records and samples are stored securely at our premises in accordance with standard laboratory practice. Where digital storage is used for the online report-access feature, reports are held in access-controlled storage that is not publicly browsable, and are served only after a matching mobile number and patient/report ID are verified.
No method of digital transmission or storage is completely secure. While we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security — including for messages sent over WhatsApp, which is operated by Meta Platforms and governed by its own security practices.
We retain diagnostic records and reports for the period required under applicable clinical establishment and medical record regulations, and thereafter only as long as necessary to respond to queries about your test history. You may request deletion of contact details we hold beyond this retention requirement — see Section 8.
As a data principal under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 12.
Where a test is booked for a minor, we process that minor's health information at the request and with the consent of their parent or lawful guardian, who is treated as the point of contact for booking, report delivery, and any data requests under this policy.
This website does not set its own tracking or advertising cookies. The embedded Google Map and any WhatsApp links you click are provided by third-party services (Google and WhatsApp/Meta respectively), which may set their own cookies or collect data under their own privacy policies once you interact with them.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — for instance, as the online report-access feature moves from testing to full operation. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of this website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
